Firstborn Son

I am joining with for Five Minute Friday. The goal is to write for five minutes about a word. No extreme editing; no worrying about perfect grammar, font, or punctuation. Unscripted. Unedited. Real.

The prompt is:

Firstborn Son
“Follow me, Avraham,” said the voice of the Father.

This is the beginning of the story of a people and their God, or God and His people. God called Avraham (Abraham) and Avraham heeded his voice and followed after him.

Avraham, Isaac and Jacob were born. Jacob became Israel. A son was born, the firstborn son of the Father.

A story began and it continues still today. This story goes on. It will go on.

It is a story of redemption of every people and every nation through one family chosen by the one God.
