All the Families of the Earth will be Blessed by you

Writing Every Day for Thirty-One Days
to Speak Life over Israel

While much of the earth is speaking death and accusation over the Jewish nation, let’s take 31 days to do the opposite. Let’s speak life over the nation of Israel and the Jewish people.

Day 2: Family

A family was harshly ripped apart last night in Israel. This isn’t the first family to be tragically separated and murdered by terrorist haters while driving home or sleeping in their beds.

What was this family’s crime? They are Jewish and G-d’s words and commands mattered to them. The thirty year-old mother and thirty-one year old father were gunned down while driving home with their four children in the backseat, ranging from four months to nine years-old, who sustained no physical injuries.

These children are physically okay yet they are not fine. They lost their mother and father. They are orphans now. They are orphans because they are Jews living in a land G-d covenanted to their people. They are orphans because others wholeheartedly despise the very existence of the Jewish people because they despise the very existence of the true and living G-d.

These children bear the mark of G-d. They bear the mark of being chosen and elect by G-d. They bear the mark of generations of Jewish people who have suffered anguish, hatred and murder at the hands of the haters of their day.

May those who profess to love G-d also learn to love the people of His choosing.

May we enter into the rest of G-d this Sabbath day and feast under his tabernacle this season as we remember his deliverance from Egypt. May we remember his kindnesses towards us despite yesterday’s tragedy. May we pray for these children and this family and the many families who have experienced this terror and hatred firsthand.,7340,L-4041237,00.html
